My latest 20 mm ring light uses eight high intensity LEDs
and is bright enough for shooting at smaller apertures,
and with greater depth of field. It can get up close and
light up very tight areas. Working Range: (ISO 400 in total darkness) 1-3" at f10.6, 1-6" at f6.6 and 1-10" at f3.7. This ring light is designed only for Nikon twist body cameras (CP-4500 and CP-900 series) which I consider the best suited for macro photography. Macro procedure.
